Milling Mill processes your personal data because you use our services and/or because you provide it to us yourself. When you contact us or request a quote, we process:
- First and last name
- Phone number
- Email address
If you place an order, we may also ask for the following, usually by email or phone once we are in touch:
- Company name (business customers)
- Delivery and billing address
- VAT number (business customers)
Special and/or sensitive personal data we process
Our website and/or service does not intend to collect data from website visitors who are under the age of 16, unless they have the consent of a parent or guardian. However, we cannot verify whether a visitor is over the age of 16. We therefore encourage parents to be involved in their children’s online activities, in order to prevent data about children from being collected without parental consent. If you are convinced that we have collected personal data about a minor without such consent, please contact us at info@millingmill.com and we will delete this information.
Why we process your personal data
Milling Mill processes your personal data for the following purposes:
- To be able to call or email you if this is necessary to carry out our services
- To respond to your quote or contact request
- To process and ship your order
- To prepare invoices, keep our records, and comply with legal obligations
- To handle questions, returns, warranty claims, and complaints
Automated decision-making
Milling Mill does not use automated decision-making.
How long we retain personal data
Milling Mill does not retain your personal data longer than strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which your data is collected. We apply the following retention period:
- Requests or inquiry without an order: if you contact us or request a quote and no order follows, we delete your data 12 months after our last contact.
- After an order has been delivered: once your order has been delivered, we keep your contact and delivery details for 12 months, so we can handle questions, returns, warranty claims, and complaints. After that, we delete them.
- Invoices and financial records: we are legally required to keep invoices and other financial records for 7 years. These records (including your name and address) are kept for that period and are used only for this purpose.
- Request for deletion: if you ask us to delete your data, we will do so as soon as possible, unless we are legally required to keep it (such as invoice data).
Sharing personal data with third parties
Milling Mill does not sell your personal data with third parties. We only share it with third parties, such as our accountant, shipping carriers, and the providers of our website hosting and email, if this is necessary for the performance of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation. If your order is shipped to a country outside the European Union, the carrier there receives your name and delivery address in order to deliver it.

Accessing, modifying, or deleting your data
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. In addition, you have the right to withdraw any consent you have given for data processing or to object to the processing of your personal data by Milling Mill, and you have the right to data portability.
