Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 16 October, 2026

Milling Mill, located at Houtzagerijstraat 5, 5451HZ Mill, The Netherlands, offers products and services such as suspension parts, suspension overhaul and engineering work. These Terms and Conditions apply to our website and to every request, quote, order, and agreement between you and Milling Mill.

1. Who we are

Milling Mill is responsible for the products and services described on this website.

Website: https://millingmill.com

2. Who these Terms apply to

In these Terms, a consumer is a person who buys from us for purposes outside their business or profession. A business customer is anyone else, such as a company, a workshop, or a self-employed person buying for their business.

Some sections apply only to consumers or only to business customers. We say so in the title of that section. All other sections apply to everyone.

3. When these Terms apply

These Terms apply to every request, quote, order, and agreement with Milling Mill, and to your use of this website. We make these Terms available on our website before you send us a request, and we send them to you again with our confirmation.

By sending us a request, accepting our quote or confirmation, or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. Visiting our website alone does not create an agreement with us, but the rules for using the website in Section 16 apply to every visitor.

If we agree something different with you in writing, that agreement goes first. If you use your own general terms and conditions, they do not apply, unless we have agreed to them in writing.

4. Requests, quotes, and agreements

A request that you send through our website, by email, or by phone is not an order. It does not oblige you or us to enter into an agreement.

We contact you within 3 to 5 business days. After that, we send you a quote or confirmation that states the products or services, the price including and excluding VAT, the shipping costs, the expected delivery time, and how to pay.

An agreement comes into being when you accept our quote or confirmation in writing (an email is enough) or pay our invoice. We may decline a request, for example if we cannot make or deliver the product.

Our quotes are valid for 30 days, unless the quote says otherwise.

We communicate with you by email, by phone, and through our website. Emails count as written communication.

5. Prices and payment

Prices are in euros. Our website shows prices including and excluding VAT. Shipping costs are not included in the product price. We tell you the shipping costs in our quote or confirmation, before the agreement is concluded.

If a price on our website is obviously wrong, we will tell you before the agreement is concluded, and no agreement exists at that price.

We do not offer online payment. You pay by bank transfer, based on our invoice, within 14 days of the invoice date. For products made to order, custom-made products, and large orders, we may ask for an advance payment or a deposit. We tell you before the agreement is concluded.

If you do not pay on time, we send you a reminder first. If the amount is still unpaid after the reminder, we may charge the statutory interest and the collection costs allowed by law.

Products remain our property until you have paid in full.

6. Delivery and shipping

We ship internationally. Shipping costs depend on the destination, weight, and size of the package.

Some products are in stock. Others are made to order. Some products are only available in batches of 25 or more. We state this in our quote or confirmation, together with the expected delivery time. Delivery times are an indication, unless we have fixed a date in writing. If we expect to be late, we let you know as soon as possible. Your legal rights if we do not deliver on time are not affected.

Please check the delivery address in our confirmation. If a package cannot be delivered because the address is incomplete or incorrect, we may charge the additional costs.

For consumers, the risk of loss or damage passes to you when you, or a person you name other than the carrier, receive the products. For business customers, the risk passes when we hand the products to the carrier.

Please check your package when you receive it. If it is damaged, tell us and the carrier as soon as possible, with photos if you can.

7. Standard products and custom-made products

A standard product is a product we offer to everyone, whether it is in stock or made to order. Making a standard product on request does not make it custom-made.

A custom-made product is made to your measurements or specifications, or is clearly personalized for you. We agree on the specifications in writing before we start. We tell you before you accept our quote that a product is custom-made.

Custom-made products cannot be resold, so they cannot be returned or refunded, and consumers have no right of withdrawal for them (see Section 10). Your rights if the product is defective are not affected (see Section 12).

If something goes wrong with a custom-made product, please contact us. We always look for a solution together with you. This is our goodwill and does not limit your legal rights.

8. Services

Our services include suspension overhaul and maintenance, and other work described in our quote. The scope and price of a service are stated in our quote.

If we find something during the work that is not in the quote, we contact you before we do extra work or charge extra costs.

If you send or bring us parts for a service:

  • The parts travel to us at your risk.
  • We check them when they arrive and tell you about visible damage or unsafe conditions.
  • Parts may contain oil or other substances. We handle and dispose of these responsibly.
  • Parts we replace are disposed of, [unless you ask us to give them back before the work starts].
  • We may keep your parts until all amounts due have been paid.
  • If you do not collect your parts or pay within [3] months after our final notice, we may take the steps allowed by law, including selling or disposing of them to cover the amounts owed.

Workshop visits are by appointment only.

Prototypes are made to test and develop an idea. Unless we agree otherwise in writing, we do not guarantee that a prototype is suitable for a specific purpose or load.

9. Information you send us

To make a custom-made product or carry out a service, we may need information from you, such as measurements, specifications, drawings, photos, files, or details about your vehicle or parts.

You are responsible for the information you send us being accurate and complete. We work with the information you give us. If the information is wrong and the product does not fit or work as a result, we are not responsible, as far as the law allows. If we have to make or do the work again, the costs are yours.

By sending us information, you confirm that you are allowed to share it with us and that it does not infringe the rights of others.

We use your information only for your request or order, and we keep it confidential. We only share it with others when this is necessary to carry out the order. We keep it as long as needed for your order and for any follow-up questions or claims. It stays yours.

10. Rights of withdrawal (consumers only)

10.1 Products

If you are a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from the purchase of a product within 14 days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day on which you, or a person you name other than the carrier, receive the products. If you order several products in one order that are delivered separately, the period expires 14 days after you receive the last product.

10.2 Services

For a service, the withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day the agreement is concluded.

If you ask us to start the service within this period, we ask you to confirm this in writing and to acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once the service has been fully carried out. If you withdraw after we have started, you pay us the proportional amount for what we have done up to that point.

10.3 Exceptions

You cannot withdraw from:

  • products that are custom-made, meaning made to your measurements or specifications, or clearly personalized;
  • a service that has been fully carried out, after you asked us to start within the withdrawal period and acknowledged that you would lose your right of withdrawal;
  • any other agreement for which the law excludes the right of withdrawal.

We tell you before you accept our quote if an exception applies.

10.4 How to withdraw

To withdraw, tell us clearly that you want to withdraw from the agreement. You can do this by using the Withdraw from on our website, or by sending us any other clear statement, for example by email to info@millingmill.com.

We confirm receipt of your withdrawal without delay, by email. To meet the deadline, it is enough to send your withdrawal before the withdrawal period expires.

10.5 Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw, we reimburse all payments we received from you, including the costs of standard delivery. We do not reimburse the extra costs if you chose a more expensive delivery method than the cheapest standard one we offer. We reimburse without undue delay, and no later than 14 days after the day we are informed of your decision. We use the same means of payment as you used for the original payment, unless you expressly agree otherwise. You do not pay any fees for the reimbursement.

You send the products back to us, or hand them over to us, without undue delay, and no later than 14 days after you tell us you are withdrawing. The deadline is met if you send the products back before the 14 days have passed.

We may withhold the reimbursement until we have received the products back, or until you show proof that you have sent them back, whichever is earlier.

You bear the direct costs of returning the products. You are only liable for a loss in value of the products that results from handling beyond what is needed to check their nature, characteristics, and functioning.

11. Returns by business customers

Business customers have no legal right of withdrawal. We may agree to take back unused standard products in their original condition if you ask us within 14 days after delivery and we agree in writing before you send them back. You pay the return shipping. Custom-made products cannot be returned.

12. Defects, legal guarantee, and complaints

We deliver products and services that match the agreement and are suitable for normal use.

Consumers: As a consumer, you are protected by the legal guarantee under Dutch and EU law. For new products, this guarantee generally lasts two years from delivery. Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under it. If you find a defect, please tell us within two months of discovering it. If a product or service is defective, you have the right to repair or replacement or, where the law allows, a price reduction or a refund.

Business customers: Please inspect products and services when you receive them. Report visible defects within 8 days of delivery. Report other defects within 8 days of discovering them, and no later than 12 months after delivery. If you report a defect on time, we will repair or replace the product, redo the service, or credit the price.

A defect does not include damage caused by incorrect installation, incorrect use, changes made by others, or normal wear, as far as the law allows.

To make a complaint, send an email to info@millingmill.com with a description, photos if you can, and your order details. We respond within 14 days. If we need more time, we tell you how long it will take. We always try to solve a complaint together with you first.

13. Safe and lawful use

Suspension parts affect how a vehicle handles and how safe it is. Products must be installed, set up, and maintained by a qualified person, in line with the instructions we provide or the manufacturer’s instructions.

Please check that a product suits your vehicle and your intended use. If you are not sure, contact us before you order.

Some products may not be approved for use on public roads, or in certain competitions, in your country. You are responsible for checking the local rules and the approval of your vehicle.

To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for damage that results from use that is not in line with this section. This does not limit your rights if a product is defective.

To make a complaint, send an email to info@millingmill.com with a description, photos if you can, and your order details. We respond within 14 days. If we need more time, we tell you how long it will take. We always try to solve a complaint together with you first.

14. Liability

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for:

  • intent, deliberate recklessness, or gross negligence;
  • death or personal injury;
  • damage caused by a defective product, as set out in product liability law;
  • anything else for which the law does not allow us to limit liability.

Consumers: our liability is as provided by law. Nothing in these Terms limits your legal rights.

Business customers: our total liability for damage arising from an agreement is limited to the amount (excluding VAT) of the order the damage relates to. We are not liable for indirect damage, such as lost profit, lost revenue, downtime, or lost savings.

15. Intellectual property

Milling Mill or its licensors own the content of this website, including texts, photos, videos, logos, designs, and layout.

The designs, drawings, files, and software we create for our own products remain ours. When you buy a product, you buy the product, not the right to copy, reproduce, manufacture, or sell its design.

Brand names of vehicles and suspension manufacturers belong to their owners. We use them to describe what our products are made for, and we are not affiliated with these brands unless we say so.

Unless the law says otherwise (such as the right to quote), you may not use, copy, reproduce, display, distribute, alter, reverse engineer, download, sell, or commercialize anything on this website without our prior written permission. To ask permission, email us at info@millingmill.com.

16. Use of this website

You may use our website only for the purposes it is intended for, and as permitted by these Terms and applicable law. You may not:

  • publish or distribute malicious software, or material linked to it;
  • use data from our website for direct marketing;
  • collect data from our website in a systematic or automated way;
  • do anything that damages the website or affects its performance, availability, or accessibility;
  • bypass or try to bypass any access restriction on the website.

If you break these rules, we may block your access to the website and take further action.

The information on our website, including product descriptions, specifications, and technical details, is general information. We prepare it with care, but it may contain mistakes or change. It does not replace an inspection or advice from a qualified professional for your specific vehicle or situation. If you are not sure whether a product fits or is safe for your use, contact us before you order.

We may change, suspend, or discontinue the website or part of it at any time. We do not guarantee that the website is always available or free of errors. This does not affect agreements that already exist.

Our website may contain links to other websites. We do not control these websites and are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

17. Privacy

We process personal data as described in our Privacy Policy and our Cookie Policy. Please make sure the information you give us is accurate and up to date.

18. International orders

Within the EU: VAT depends on where the products are delivered and on whether you are a business customer. If you are a business customer in another EU country, you may have to give us a valid VAT number so we can invoice without Dutch VAT, where the law allows. We state the VAT on our quote and invoice.

Outside the EU: Customs duties, import taxes, and handling fees in the destination country are not included in our price, and you pay them, unless we agree otherwise in writing. Delays caused by customs are outside our control. To deliver your order, the carrier needs your name and delivery address, and may need more information for customs.

You are responsible for checking whether you may import, register, or use a product in your country.

We follow EU and Dutch export and sanctions laws. If an order is prohibited by law, we may refuse or cancel it and reimburse any payment you made for products we did not deliver.

19. Force majeure

Except for payment obligations, neither of us is in breach of these Terms if a delay or failure is caused by something beyond our reasonable control, such as supplier delays, transport disruptions, power or internet outages, extreme weather, or government measures. If such a situation lasts longer than 90 days, either of us may cancel the part of the agreement that has not yet been carried out. We then reimburse any payment for what was not delivered. Neither of us owes compensation.

20. Indemnification (business customers only)

Indemnification means that you cover our costs if someone else makes a claim against us because of something you did. If you are a business customer and a third party makes a claim against Milling Mill because the information, drawings, or specifications you gave us infringe their rights, or because you used a product against these Terms, you pay our reasonable costs and damages related to that claim.

21. Entire agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, our Cookie Policy, and our quote or confirmation, form the entire agreement between you and Milling Mill for your use of this website and for every request, quote, order, and agreement. They replace any earlier arrangements about the same subject.

If our quote or confirmation says something different from these Terms, the quote or confirmation goes first. Mandatory consumer law always goes first.

22. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The date at the top is the date of the latest revision. A new version applies to requests and orders you make after we post it on our website. An agreement that has already been concluded stays under the Terms that applied on the day it was concluded.

23. General provisions

You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms to anyone else without our written consent, unless the law gives you that right.

If we do not enforce a provision right away, we can still enforce it later.

If a provision of these Terms is invalid or cannot be enforced, the other provisions stay in force, and the invalid provision is replaced by one that comes as close as possible to its intent.

These Terms are written in English. If we communicate in another language and there is a difference, the English version of these Terms prevails.

24. Governing law and disputes

Dutch law applies to these Terms and to all agreements with Milling Mill. The UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply.

If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live. You may bring a dispute before the courts of the Netherlands or the courts of the country where you live.

If you are a business customer, disputes go to the competent court in the Netherlands for the area where Milling Mill is established.

We always try to solve a dispute together with you first. Please contact us at info@millingmill.com.
